Cancello Vale

Over the last 2 years, GRID has successfully transformed the Fasolo orchard once filled with blossoming fruit trees into a highly sought after, beautiful country estate – Cancello Vale. This was achieved at a cost significantly below their original budget and ahead of their programme.

The estate required careful planning and immaculate landscaping to retain the existing orchard ambience and comply with the environmental requirements of the Shire of Mundaring and the Department of Water.

Stormwater treatment is an integral component of the development, and entailed landscaping the existing Lesmurdie Brook, creating a small retention lake and constructing 4 harvesting rainwater gardens. The landscaped entry into Fasolo Place is now a landmark feature of Orangedale Road.

The project has become a model development for the Shire of Mundaring while simultaneously delighting Mrs Fasolo who is very proud of the “Fasolo legacy”.
