Mernda Villages is a mixed use development in the River Red Gum northern hills of Mernda, Melbourne.

The development of an active Village Centre, an award winning adventure play ground and a flourishing eco system including Victoria's first Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) scheme has resulted in this project winning the UDIA (Vic) Award for Best Residential Development. Greg Dodd was the State Development Manager with Stockland, Victoria.

Harbour Rise is an outstanding coastal development comprising 500 residential lots, and has a strong integration with the adjacent Hillary's Boat Harbour. This project was developed while Greg was General Manager of Estates Development Company. This estate was the pioneer of the successful “Liveable Neighbourhood” code.

Ascot Waters

Ascot Waters is a major urban renewal and open space project with a total site area of approximately 100 ha that has seen the conversion of a disused industrial site, clay-pit, drive-in cinema and rubbish tip into an exciting residential community, river marina and new regional open space. Ascot Waters has been developed by a Joint Venture of Domain Projects, Estates Development Company and Henry Walker Eltin who jointly appointed Greg Dodd as the Project Manager.

Environmental management, community development, outstanding urban design and consequential economic growth have been key achievements within the success of this development.

Greg was initially the Project Manager representing the Ascot Waters Consortium of EDC, Domain and Henry Walker Eltin before being appointed as General Manager of EDC.

Estates Development Company developed Caversham Grange in the Swan Valley, Western Australia (WA) in 2002. The 119 lot development was extremely successful in a very competitive corridor – a consequence of commitment to urban detail and sensitive landscaping.

This project was awarded to Voran in July 1994. Greg prepared the successful proposal to Homeswest for the renewal of the suburb of Lockridge. This was an award winning development – 1999 UDIA Award for Excellence – Urban Renewal. The redevelopment resulted in the renewal of the community in Lockridge.

Greg commenced the implementation of the Lockridge redevelopment, Pepperwood, which ultimately won the prestigious World Habitat award.
